How to use a Template
Hello there. Today, I will show you how to use a template.
To begin, log into MAPS.
Enter your organization.
Click on the Automation tab on the left-hand side of the screen in the Module Menu Panel.
The Sequence Detail Screen will appear.
Click the blue Add New Sequence button at the top right-hand side of the screen.
The Add New Sequence Detail Screen will materialize.
Enter the name for the sequence as well as the folder you want it in and click the blue Save button.
The Sequence Configuration Screen will appear.
Fill in all desired fields for the sequence and click the blue Add Event button on the right-hand side of the sequence.
Templates can only be used in text messages and emails, so click either SMS or Email from the drop-down.
The Compose Message Detail Screen will materialize.
Give the message a name in the provided field. The more detail there is in the name, the better. You want to be able to distinguish sequences just by their names.
Click the drop-down Select Existing Template to select the template you would like to use.
Scroll until the desired template is in view and click it.
You can look in the preview section of the screen to see what your template copied over to look like.
Implementing templates into sequences makes it so if a sequence gets deleted, or you want to use the same message for multiple sequences, the template is always there for your disposal
