Types Of Events That Can Be Created In Sequences
Hello there. Today, I will explain the types of events that can be used in Sequences.
To begin, log into MAPS.
Enter your organization.
Click on the Automation tab on the left-hand side of the screen in the Module Menu Panel.
A drop-down section will appear under Automation, the Sequence option will already be highlighted, and you should be on the Sequence Details screen.
Click on the blue Add New Sequence box in the upper right-hand corner.
A small screen will materialize that requires a name for the new Sequence and the option of a folder to be placed in (can be created after the sequence is built).
Once at the Sequence Configuration Details screen, enter all applicable fields on the left side as needed.
Now click on the blue Add Event box on the right side of the screen.
A drop down appears with these options. SMS, Messenger, Email, Voicemail, Call, Wait, and Add Task. Choose the event you need in the sequence accordingly.
I will now explain each event option.
The option SMS is a text message that can be written by you or by choosing a prewritten Text Template.
The option Messenger is a form of text that can be sent through Facebook Messenger. This only works if you have your organization integrated with your Facebook.
The option Email is an email message written by you or by choosing a prewritten Email Template.
The option Voicemail will send your contacts a voicemail.
The fifth event is a Wait event, which should make the sequence wait to fire until after the time you selected.
And lastly is the Add Task event, which will add a task to your contacts.
We have these events because every sequence is different, and you may need one or more to make your sequence work properly.
