Task Description: Change the Opportunity Status
Objective: To show Organization Admins and Users how to change the opportunity status to open, won, lost or abandoned
Organization: Under Admin or System User
System Permission Level: System Admin or System User
Step 1
Go to www.growthpowersuite.com and click the green Login button.
Step 2
Enter your username and password then click the blue Login button.
Step 3
Click on your Organization (if you are in multiple organizations). If you are only in one, you will begin on the Dashboard.
Step 4
Click on the Pipelines tab in the Module Menu Panel.
Step 5
Select a Pipeline and remove the filter on the Status to view all opportunities in the selected pipeline.
Step 6
Click to open your desired opportunity card.
Step 7
A popup like the one below will appear. Scroll down to find the Status* field at the bottom of the popup. To modify the status, click the dropdown and choose from the following options: Open, Won, Lost and Abandoned. After selecting the new status, hit the Update button to save the changes.
TIP: If the predefined Status Labels (Open, Won, Lost, Abandoned) do not align with your organization's terminology, you can modify them in Settings. For a step-by-step guide, refer to our Change Status Label workflow.
Step 8
The opportunity will reflect the selected status.
