Task Description: Change the Stage of an Opportunity in a Pipeline
Objective: To show Organization Admins and Users how to change the stage of an opportunity in a pipeline
Organization: Under Admin or System User
System Permission Level: System Admin or System User
Step 1
Go to www.growthpowersuite.com and click the green Login button.
Step 2
Enter your username and password then click the blue Login button.
Step 3
Click on your Organization (if you are in multiple organizations). If you are only in one, you will begin on the Dashboard.
Step 4
Click on the Pipelines tab in the Module Menu Panel.
Step 5
Select the pipeline containing the opportunity whose stage you need to change. There are two ways to update an opportunity’s stage.
Step 6 (Method 1)
Click and drag the opportunity card to your desired stage. This method is ideal for shorter pipelines, as it requires minimal horizontal scrolling.
Step 7 (Method 2)
Click on the opportunity card to open the Edit Opportunity dialog box. In the dialog box, click the Stage field to view the available options. Select your desired stage from the dropdown, then click the Update button at the bottom right to save the changes. This method is especially useful for longer pipelines, as it eliminates the need for excessive scrolling.
