Task Description: How to send an Email HTML Template to a contact

Objective: To show Organization Admins permission level and Users how to send an Email HTML Template to a contact

Organization: All

System Permission Level: System Admin/User and Organization Admin/User 


Step 1

Go to www.growthpowersuite.com and click the green Login button.


Step 2

Enter your username and password then click the blue Login button.


Step 3

Click on your Organization (if you are in multiple organizations). If you are only in one, you will begin on the Dashboard.


Step 4

From the Dashboard screen, there are 2 ways to proceed about sending an HTML Email Template.

Method 1

Step 1: Click on the Communication Panel tab on the Module Menu Panel. Here, you will find the conversation history of your contacts.

NOTE: If you are sending an HTML Email Template to a new contact, it cannot be done in the Communication Panel. Please jump to Method 2 to see how to proceed.


Step 2: On the left side of the Communication Panel screen, there are four tabs: Unread, Recent, All, and Archive. Go ahead and click the All tab.


Step 3: Here, you will see a list of contacts that you or a fellow user have reached out to. You can find the contact you would like to send the HTML Email Template to by scrolling through the list or by looking up their name in the Search box. Once you have found the contact, click on their name and it will bring up their conversation history in the middle panel.


Step 4: In the middle panel, click on the Send Email tab directly to the right of the Send SMS tab.


Step 5:  While staying in the middle panel, click on the double arrow button directly to the right of the Send Email tab (indicated by the yellow arrow in the image below), and a text box will appear.


Step 6: Click on the Use Template button at the bottom of the text box and a Select Template popup will appear.


Step 7: Click on the HTML Builder Template radio button.


Step 8: Then, click the dropdown field and a list of the HTML Email Templates will appear beneath.


Step 9: Select the template you would like to use and click the blue Use Template button.


Step 10: The selected template will appear in an email editor popup for you to review, edit or make any last-minute changes. When you are satisfied with the edits, click the Send button to send the message to the contact.


Method 2

Step 1: Click on the Contacts tab on the Module Menu Panel. Here, you will be able to see a list of your contacts.


Step 2: Find the contact you would like to send the HTML Email Template to by scrolling through the list or by looking up their name in the Search box. Once you have found the contact, click on their name and it will bring you to the contact details screen.  


Step 3: In the Contact details screen, you should see 3 panels. In the middle panel, click on the Send Email tab directly to the right of the Send SMS tab.


Step 4: While staying in the same panel, click on the double arrow button directly to the right of the Send Email tab (indicated by the yellow arrow in the image below), and a text box will appear.


Step 5: Click on the Use Template button at the bottom of the text box and a Select Template popup will appear.


Step 6: Click on the HTML Builder Template radio button.
