Task Description: How to copy an Email HTML Template to another organization
Objective: To show Organization Admins permission level and Users how to copy an Email HTML Template to another organization
Organization: All
System Permission Level: System Admin/User and Organization Admin/User
Step 1
Go to www.growthpowersuite.com and click the green Login button.
Step 2
Enter your username and password then click the blue Login button.
Step 3
Click on your Organization (if you are in multiple organizations). If you are only in one, you will begin on the Dashboard.
Step 4
Click on the Messaging Templates tab on the Module Menu Panel then click on the sub-tab Email HTML Builder.
Step 5
The Email HTML Builder Templates screen will appear. Locate the Email Template you wish to copy and click on the copy button, which is the first button in the actions list. After clicking the copy button, a Copy Template popup will materialize.
Step 6
The Template Name field will auto populate with the name of the selected template along with the word “Copy” attached at the end. You can customize the Template Name to your liking.
NOTE: The Template Name cannot exceed 40 characters.
Step 7
Next, click on the Destination Organization dropdown and a list of organizations that you’re in will appear.
NOTE: If you are only in one organization, then only the name of your current organization will appear in the dropdown list.
Step 8
Select the organization you would like to receive a copy of the template. You can select multiple organizations. You can also select your current organization if you’d like to make a copy of the template in your current organization.
NOTE: For users that are only in 1 organization, you can only make a copy of the template within your current organization.
Step 9
After selecting your organization(s), you can collapse the dropdown list by clicking the Destination Organization dropdown field again or any empty space away from the dropdown list. Once the dropdown is collapsed, you can click the blue Copy button to confirm the placement of the Email Template in the selected organization(s).
