Task Description: Understanding Callback Links
Objective: To show Organization Admins and Users how Callback Links work in GPS
Organization: Under Admin or System User

What Are Callback Links?
Callback Links are trackable hyperlinks that allow you to insert a saved link into messages and track who clicks on it.
A great way to think about Callback Links is like using a registered mail service instead of regular mail. With a normal hyperlink, you send out the link, but you have no idea if it was opened. With Callback Links, it's like getting a notification every time someone opens your letter, showing exactly who clicked the link.
How Do Callback Links Work?
1) Create a Callback Link
- Select the Messaging Templates tab in the Module Menu Panel and navigate to the Callback Links submodule.
- Click the Add Link button on the top-right corner.
- Give your link a Name (e.g., "Schedule Demo")
- Enter the URL (e.g., your demo booking page)
- Save it in the system for easy access
2) Insert the Callback Link
- When drafting a message or template, select the Callback Links dropdown.
- Select the Callback Link you’d like to use.
- The system will display a placeholder like {{callback_link.09wDl6mLpkSJTSL2KSGldw}}.
- When the message is sent, the placeholder will be replaced with the real link.
3) Track Who Clicked the Link
- Navigate to the Callback Links submodule and click on the Statistics tab.
- Every time a recipient clicks a Callback Link, the system records their name and the link they clicked. To see who clicked on the Schedule Demo link, click the number under No. of Clicks corresponding to that Callback Link.
- You can use this data to understand who is engaging

Callback Links can be used anywhere you create messages or templates, including:
- Contacts
- Communication Panel
- Sequences
- Messaging Templates
- HTML Email Builder
