Step 8

Starting on the left column, we have:

  • Name: The title or label used to identify the calendar.
  • Autoconfirm Appointment: When enabled (toggle is blue), the system will automatically confirm appointments as soon as they are booked, without manual approval.
  • Allow Cancellation: When enabled (toggle is blue), the system will let users cancel their appointments.
  • Allow Reschedule: Enable users to modify the date and time of their appointments, subject to availability.
  • Slot Duration: The length of each appointment time slot.
  • Slot Interval: The frequency at which new slots are made available (e.g., every 15 mins).
  • Buffer Duration: Extra time added before or after appointments to prevent overlaps.
  • Appointment Title: The title shown on booked appointments.
  • Meeting Location: The physical address or virtual link where the appointment will take place.
  • Facebook Pixel ID: Used for tracking calendar activity with Facebook Ads.
  • Appointments Per Slot: The number of appointments allowed in the same time slot.
  • Appointments Per Day: The maximum number of appointments allowed in a single day.
  • Minimum Scheduling Notice: The minimum time required before someone can book an appointment (e.g., 2 hours notice).
  • Date Range: The span of dates available for booking (e.g., next 30 days).
  • New Appointment Alert Email: The email address where new booking notifications will be sent.
  • Thank You Redirect URL: A custom URL to redirect users to after booking is complete.
  • Thank You Message: A confirmation message displayed after a successful booking.
  • Additional Notes: Any extra information or instructions shown to users during booking.

On the right column, we have:

  • Custom Code: Add custom HTML to enhance booking experience.
  • Event Colors: Choose colors to visually distinguish events on the calendar.

  • Weekly Availability: Set the days and time ranges when appointments can be booked. Use the toggle to enable or disable availability for each day. When enabled (blue), you can define specific time slots. Use the Add Hours option to split availability—for example, 8:00 AM–11:00 AM and 1:00 PM–5:00 PM—to block off times like lunch breaks.

  • Link to Calendar: Select an external calendar to connect with your GPS calendar for appointment syncing. To link with Google, check out our Integrate with Google Account and Sync with GPS Calendar guide.
  • Sync Options: Choose one-way or two-way sync to control how appointments are updated between calendars.
    1. One-way sync: Sends appointments from GPS to your linked calendar only.
    2. Two-way sync: Sends appointments both from GPS to your linked calendar and from your linked calendar back to GPS.
  • Use Remember Contact: Enable to auto-fill returning users' info based on past visits.

Once you are done configuring the calendar settings, click the blue Save button to create the new calendar.

Step 9: Edit Calendar

Your new calendar will appear at the top of the Calendars list. To edit the calendar configuration after creation, click the pencil icon to the far right of the calendar name. For a breakdown of the calendar settings, refer to Step 8.

Step 10: Delete Calendar

To delete a calendar, click the red trash bin icon to the right of the pencil icon. A confirmation prompt will appear. Type the word “Delete” in the text box and click Submit to finalize the deletion.
